Team line-ups: Barnsley vs Swansea City – Cooper makes some interesting changes

|

The team line-ups are in for today’s Championship 3 pm kick-off as Swansea City return from the international break to face a Barnsley side who have recently sacked their manager.

Interestingly for the Swans, coach Steve Cooper has decided to drop striker Borja Baston in favour of AFC Bournemouth loanee Sam Surridge while Tom Carroll is re-introduced after injury. There’s no place for Dhanda in the matchday squad despite starting in the last 2 games as Byers is favoured behind the frontman as it looks like Celina will continue on the left.

Kyle Naughton’s injury in the defeat against Stoke City hasn’t kept him out as he starts at right-back while Connor Roberts is given a rest following his games for Wales. Joe Rodon, however, returns alongside Mike van der Hoorn.

Amongst the substitutes, Cooper has included the likes of Peterson and Garrick to give him attacking and pace options if required.

Betting Tips

Our betting tips partner @NothingButTips has posted their tips for today’s match and they’re tipping an away win for the Swans. It’s not surprising, Barnsley are struggling and Swansea are performing better away from home following wins at the likes of Charlton, QPR and Leeds. NothingButTips are tipping us to score 2 or more goals (1.72). Swans to win and both teams to score also seems a decent bet at 3.40.
