Wilfried Bony’s agent has spoken further about his client, but insists there’s no pressure for a sale as he is happy at Swansea City.
His agent, Dalibor Lacina has also recently spoke about his current club and its chairman Huw Jenkins, praising them both for taking a risk on Bony, while criticising Newcastle United for not doing so and ‘lacking ambition’.

Lacina has added to that this week, saying that he has informed Huw Jenkins that he has received interest from a couple of clubs:
‘He should move only to a top-six club or to a big club because Swansea is a very good club.
‘We have received interest from a couple of clubs and I have already informed [Swansea chairman Huw ] Jenkins.
‘It’s too early to talk about concrete names and, from the business point of view, it wouldn’t be correct.
‘Let’s see what will happen in the future but we have no pressure because Bony is happy in Swansea.’
Again, it’s another typical agent doing their job of touting their client – hoping to attract interest and the possibility of a much improved deal for them both.
However, Bony is happy at the Liberty Stadium for now, and the Swans are in control over him as he is under contract. The manager Garry Monk and chairman Huw Jenkins have every right to ask for an ‘astronomical fee’ for the Ivory Coast international – who is also scoring in the World Cup – helping his country comeback to beat Japan 2-1 in their opening group match.
Monk has said earlier this Summer, that an ‘astronomical fee’ is required for the striker to leave South Wales.
You wonder if another club will take the risk this Summer and make a high enough bid that would be too good to refuse. Only the Swans were prepared to last year, and you get the feeling that Monk could benefit by having Bony for another season at least.
That’s the least the club deserve for giving him his big chance in a League as good as the Premiership, which has also given his international career a massive boost.
