Quite a new feature on the site, we round-up the latest discussions going on in our forum.

INJURY CONCERNS

….It has been consistent under jackett, where we have high levels of long term injuries and reoccurences of said injuries. This surely must have something to do with the coaching strategies and recovery sessions for players. I have never known our injury list to be so large as the past 2 years…

KNIGHT BACK AT SWANSEA

What a dire performance, good job Brentford were so poor, we cannot keep playing like this and expect to go up, and as for that donkey Fallon get rid asap.

I read sumwhere that they (Southend) are back in for him. izzy as well.

would it be a bad thing if he played against sheffield? we have nothing to loose seeing that the other option would be bayo and fallon and then he would want to do well so other clubs could see how good he is.

SWANSEA 2 BRENTFORD 0

Fallons body language was not good, shoulders slumped, lethargic, going thru the motions. He looked thoroughly down. He missed a sitter; he plays one-touch like he doesn’t want the ball; his marker walks around him to pick up the ball if his first touch would have been to control the ball. On top of that he’s also unfairly penalised by the ref whenever he touches an opponent or they him. Either way his marker gets an easy ride.

The service up to him is poor, and not much is asked of him. It seems that his job is to hold the middle ground and drop deep to knock back high balls .. and little else – certainly he doesn’t seem willing or able to create movement – maybe defend a few set pieces and stand in opponents penalty areas to attract attention, perhaps pick up a few crumbs. It would be nice to see him mix his game up and even get a few balls in front of him.

Some of the blame should fall on the manager and his striking coach as there should/must be more variety in his play and his capability. I can’t see us getting 300k for him if he’s surplus, so he needs a break to get his head together and away from his critics, and maybe he can come back. The coaching staff need to look at what they can do to get a bigger contribution on the field.

WOULD EASTER BE A GOOD SIGNING?

easter would never end up down here hes cardiff scum and he aint good enough in my opinion anyway theres a lot more talented lads out there that would come for cheaper and would play just to ware the shirt.
swansea_till_i_die

Easter would be my choice too, how do you know he hates us, it’s all banter with the crowd usually.

Easter and Fallon up front? I think they would possibly be the most disliked pairing up front we ever would have had down here. The guy who can do nothing right and the head slapping scummer fan… thatd make match days fun!
