With a superb performance popping out of the blue from the Swans, we walked all over Carlisle to beat 5-0 at the Liberty Stadium.

Would this finally be the turning point of our season we desperately needed? Or would we go back to our old inconsistent ways?

We asked you whether or not it would be a turning point and this is how you voted:

Will the 5-0 win prove to be a turning point or was it a one off?

we’ll go on a good run now! 54%
One off, Carlisle had injuries 37%
Neither 9%

We instantly returned to our previous ways as we drew 1-1 at home to Rotherham the following game, a last minute Akinfenwa goal giving us a point.

Two wins, one away at the Crewe and then at home to Brentford were interrupted in the middle by a disastorous game at Huddersfield. We took a 2-goal lead at half time but threw it away in just 23 minutes, conceding 3 goals to lose the game.

Evidentally then, that game didn’t change a thing!

Our new poll wants to know how many players you think we need to sign in the January transfer window, you can vote now on the right hand side.
