Swansea City appear to be close to securing the services of 19 year-old Falkirk left back Stephen Kingsley for an initial £350,000 fee.
The Swans first tried signing the defender back in January 2014 when they signed fellow Falkirk midfielder Jay Fulton.
Back in January 2014, Kingsley said:
“It`s great to hear people talking about me and clubs such as Celtic and Swansea. I was also down at Wolves recently just to see what it was like and it was a great experience.
“But I need to keep my head down and not take any notice.
“I need to focus on Saturday and facing Morton. What happens will happen and if anything emerges then it`s down to Falkirk to discuss the matter.”
The two clubs couldn’t agree on a fee, but reports in Scotland now suggest that a fee has been agreed of around £350,000 – and the player is expected to sign a three-year deal.
The transfer could be worth up to £850,000 based on extra add-ons.
