The 28 year-old is expected to sign a four-year deal at the Liberty Stadium worth around £50,000 a week, with a press conference expected on Wednesday at Las Palmas to confirm their record transfer fee received.
The deal hasn`t yet been confirmed as reports say that there are still some finances to agree on – in terms of how the fee will be paid.
Mesa would be an impressive signing if the Swans do manage to pull it off – providing that he can quickly adjust to the Premier League as a number of people tipped him for a move to a bigger club this Summer.
A player capable of dictating the play – like our very own Leon Britton, Mesa averaged 91.4% passing success rate in La Liga last season. He`s also a player that doesn`t shy away from a tackle, having picked up 14 bookings in 2016/17.

Mesa is capable of breaking lines with his passing, evading pressure and making driving runs. Clement is working on a lovely project
