According to our latest Twitter poll, Ostersunds manager Graham Potter is the fans’ preferred choice to take the vacant managers job at Swansea City this Summer.

Frank de Boer is rumoured to have joined Potter on Swansea’s priorities list as they look for their 5th new gaffer in the space of just 19 months.

Local lad and former Wales and Sunderland manager Chris Coleman has also naturally been linked with the job once again, while Jaap Stam has jumped up the bookie’s odds this weekend and at the time of writing, he’s their favourite at 7/2.

Potter clearly won the vote on Twitter with 61%, followed by Frank de Boer and ‘Other’ on 17%. Chris Coleman made up the remainder with just 5%.

  • I’m not certain at all that Graham Potter is the ideal man for us. He has absolutely no experience of managing in England, indeed his CV shows he has been most of the time in the lower leagues in Sweden, a far cry from the pressure cooker that is The Championship. On top of this the Swans are seriously considering Frank de Boer…are they mad? He was completely out of his depth at Crystal Palace and they couldn’t wait to get rid of him. Also there is talk of Jaap Stam, once again he failed badly at Reading and although he had a successful playing career over here, his management is sketchy at best. We need to get this right for God sake, what the hell are the Board and Owners doing??

  • I’m not overwhelmed either by the names mentioned so far. Can you think of anyone you’d like in Phil? Out of the names mentioned, Potter is my favourite so far. Don’t like the sound of the others- de Boer, Stam, Coleman. I wouldn’t want any of them.

  • At this moment I would go for Paul Hurst of Shrewsbury. He’s done an amazing job with very little funds to get them to the Play Off final. It’s what we need, someone with energy and desire.
