Swansea City manager Garry Monk has praised his side’s performance and character as Bony scored an injury time equaliser to get a point at QPR.
The Swans dominated large periods of the game at QPR but after missing a number of good chances to equalise after Leroy Fer’s wonder strike, Bony came on to fire in a late goal.
After the game, Monk said he loved his side’s spirit and character:
‘For me, it was all about the football today,’
‘I loved our spirit and our character. We didn’t give a good account of ourselves against Liverpool on Monday, but we were magnificent today.
‘The conditions weren’t the best, the wind was blowing and we came up against a very good team.
‘I thought we were really pushing second half and created a number of chances, but Rob Green was fantastic and made some great saves.
‘My players were magnificent and that is what Swansea City is all about.’
