Liverpool’s official site confirmed this afternoon that Swansea City had completed the signing of attacking midfielder Yan Dhanda, before quickly deleting the article.
The 19 year-old was strongly linked with a move to the Swans a week ago, with reports suggesting that he was on the verge of putting pen to paper in South Wales, but we haven’t heard any update until today.
Was it simply published too soon? An article in waiting but the submit button pressed just too soon before it was 100% complete? Has our search for a new manager delayed it slightly? Graham Potter is expected to be in the city this week to complete his move from Sweden.
Dhanda was one of Liverpool’s most promising young players, and some Reds fans have shown their disappointment to see him leave after his contract expired this Summer.
Properly gutted about Yan Dhanda leaving, wish him all the best at Swansea. Hopefully one day we see him back in Liverpool red. pic.twitter.com/uxaexQT4ZY

Yan Dhanda off to Swansea. Imo that was a mistake as I believe he'll be a great player one day, we could've just loaned him out.

So not yet 100% officially confirmed, but we’d expect this to happen very soon.
