Swansea City could lose at least five players this Summer as manager Garry Monk continues to re-shape his squad

Swansea City could lose at least five players this Summer – four of them being Spanish as manager Garry Monk continues to re-shape his squad for the new 2014/15 Premier League season.

Out-of-favour duo Canas and Pozuelo haven’t travelled for the club’s USA Pre-Season Tour and after their lack of games under Monk last season, their days look numbered.

Pablo Hernandez also hasn’t travelled, and reports have emerged today that he could be set to join Qatari side Al Arabi after holding talks about a possible move in the middle East.

Despite enjoying a loan move at Sunderland last season under Gus Poyet, Ki has reportedly been in talks about a possible move to Aston Villa. This news will surely attract the Black Cats to get involved as Poyet expressed a keen desire to make the loan permanent this Summer.

Manager Garry Monk says there could be another 2-3 signings to come in, and he’ll need this many as a bare minimum as it looks like at least four, if not all five of these players will leave the Swans before the season starts.

And that’s without mentioning the possibility of Michel Vorm, Wilfried Bony and Ben Davies who are all attracting plenty of interest.
