Swansea City centre back Kyle Bartley was your clear Man of the Match choice for Saturday’s 1-1 home draw against Crystal Palace, picking up 44% of the votes.

The young defender has recently come in for the injured Federico Fernandez and has slotted in perfectly alongside captain Ashley Williams. Like the Argentine and Spaniard Jordi Amat before him, Bartley looks reliable and strong, as well as confident with the ball at his feet.

The former Arsenal player was the clear stand out performer against Palace, and was always comfortable moving forward with the ball into the opposition’s half.

Bartley produced another solid display in Tuesday night’s 2-0 win over QPR, he also went close to scoring but his header from a corner was brilliantly saved by Rob Green.

Fellow defender Angel Rangel came in second with 16%, followed by goalkeeper Fabianski in third with 14%.
