Swansea City midfield duo Ki Sung Yueng and Gylfi Sigurdsson have covered almost 200 miles between them so far this season.

Both players are amongst the top in the League for covering the most ground so far this term, with Ki just 1 mile short of 100 after just 14 games.

Sigurdsson isn’t far behind either, covering 96.8 miles. The two players tend to be top of the distance covered leaderboard in Swansea’s games, often managing 7 miles at least over 90 minutes.

Chelsea duo Febregas and Matic are the top 2 in the League so far, covering 101.96 and 101.22 miles respectively. Hull City’s Jake Livermore comes in 3rd with 100.12 miles ahead of Ki.

After Stoke’s N’Zonzi with 97.26 comes Sigurdsson (96.8 miles).

It’s no surprise whatsoever to see these stats for the two midfielders. Sigurdsson in particular puts in incredible effort despite being an attacking playmaker, while Ki of course works tirelessly to regain possession for his team.

The effort and determination shown on the pitch has significantly improved under Garry Monk, and you can easily tell that the players want to perform and put in maximum effort for the young manager.
