Swansea City left back Neil Taylor says that he’s now hoping he can play more games following a change of manager.

After his involvement in Euro 2016 with Wales during the Summer, Neil Taylor came back from international duty and lost his first team spot to Stephen Kingsley.

The young Scot also lost his place in the side following a stomach problem that he struggled with during the Southampton game. Since then, Kyle Naughton playing out of position was Guidolin’s choice at left back – rather than Neil Taylor.

It was no surprise that the former boss didn’t bring him back into the team when Kingsley was sidelined. Taylor showed his frustration when he was substituted just four minutes before half time during the 2-2 against Chelsea, when the manager’s trial of a 3-5-1-1 system didn’t pay off.

Much has been said over the last year or more about Neil Taylor’s ability, and his first team place. Many fans think that he’s not up to the job for the Swans as he lacks attacking ability compared to Kingsley. His strengths are defensively, while Kingsley is somewhat lacking in that department you could argue.

After being out of favour with Guidolin, Taylor now hopes that he can return from international duty again and start playing more games for the Swans under the new manager – Bob Bradley.

“I do hope I can now play more games at Swansea. It was a little bit difficult coming back from the Euros and having that to deal with but that was another chapter.

“I was very happy to get back to Wales, playing some football but when I go back to Swansea, I think it is going to be exciting.”

“I have heard very good things about the new manager.

‘I have not spoken to him but, as soon as I get back Tuesday obviously my focus will be on Swansea, but so far there has been good feedback.”

Like we discussed in the Message Forum here, Bob Bradley has got a lot of decisions to make ahead of his first game in charge in a week’s time at in-form Arsenal.

Will he move Sigurdsson back into his preferred central attacking midfield role? Does he switch back to a 4-2-3-1 system with wingers? Who plays in defence with all four defenders now fit and available. Naughton was at left back, does he move back to his favoured right to allow Taylor or Kingsley back in? Llorente and Borja are also competing for a lone striker role, or will Bradley opt for 2 strikers?

So many decisions, let us know what you would do if you was manager in the
