Reports suggest that Swansea City are set to sign Middlesbrough striker Marvin Emnes on loan on transfer deadline day.
The news comes as quite a surprise as the Dutch forward, who can also play as a winger, is expected to make a second loan move to the Liberty Stadium having been at the club in 2010.
He is best known for scoring the winner at Cardiff City during his spell here and we’ll all be hoping that he can do the same again next week!
Emnes’ best goalscoring season was the one after his Swansea loan, scoring 14 goals in 42 League appearances. However, this year he has struggled in front of goal, netting just once in 16 games.
Summer 2013 target Chadli was also linked with a move earlier today but Spurs head coach Tim Sherwood ruled out any players leaving White Hart Lane.
