Swansea again failed to get a victory as their winless run increases to 4 in the league. Trundle also suffered a blow as he could miss the whole duration of the transfer window throughout January after going off injured after an hour.

An impressive away following of around 3,500 were at the County Ground thisafternoon to witness today’s match.

After Wednesday’s postponement, we were all hoping to get back to winning ways and you’d think playing against the bottom side, there was a good chance of that happening but Swindon, like they’ve done in recent weeks, battled out for a point.

Kenny Jackett was forced to play McLeod at left back as Austin is still out suspended, while Ricketts switched to the right.

Martinez, along with McLeod, returned after one-match suspensions. Tate was missing however as he has to serve a 3-match ban after getting sent off at Brentford last Saturday.

The Swans were up against one of their own players in Andy Gurney, who was playing his last game of his loan with Swindon, coincidentally against his own club.

It wasn’t pretty to watch as Swindon battled out as they needed the points. Goodfellow was brought on at half time for the injured Tudur-Jones, and this gave us some extra width to our midfield.

Freezer went close in the late stages with an 18-yard shot that hit the bar as went on the attack to get that single winning goal, but it wasn’t to be as Swindon stood firm.

Swansea were dealt another blow just after the hour mark when Trundle had to go off injured as Forbes replaced him. Forbesy also went close but the keeper made a good save, as well as a few others to keep the sides level.

With another game gone without a win, that’s adding up the pressure for the next game and that’s on Monday night against Port Vale. A must win game really as 2 other clubs are also on 43 points.

Jackett must now bring in some players as we are set to be without Trundle and Tudur-Jones for up to a month.
