Sheffield Wednesday have denied reports that they have made a £475,000 bid for striker, Lee Trundle.

The Daily Mirror today reported that Swansea had received a bid for their star player but again its seems to be more speculation rubbish from a national paper.

Both the Sun and the Mirror have been guilty for reporting false news regarding Premiership clubs showing an interest in the scouser.

SWFC Chief Executive Kaven Walker told swfc.co.uk: ‘There is no truth in these reports. We had made absolutely no bid for Lee, nor have we enquired about him.’

Swansea Chairman, Huw Jenkins has also told the press on numerous occassions that Trundle is not for sale – not even for £1 million.
