Owain Tudur-Jones signed for the Swans for £5,000 on the 1st August 2005 after a succesful trial.
Tudur-Jones is a tall battling midfielder who is capable of winning the ball for the Swans and he can also attack as well.
The Welsh under-21s international has featured alongside skipper Roberto Martinez this season but he looks set for a lengthy lay off due to injury.
After joining from League of Wales side Bangor, the 21 year-old has adapted very well to League One football and he’ll certainly be a player to watch in the future.
Swansea had to act fast to clinch the signing of Owain and firstly offered him a 1-month deal as they competed with Tranmere and Swindon for his services. He later signed a new deal to keep him at Swansea until the end of the season.
Tudur-Jones has proved to be a superb bargain signing after his first full season at the Liberty Stadium.
His season was affected with a long-term injury that kept him out for several months. His injury has re-occured recently which means he is likely to miss the start of the 06/07 season.
