Kristian O’Leary could be out for up to 6 weeks after being stretchered off during the LDV Vans Trophy Quarter-Final match last night.
He lasted just 15 minutes of the game after damaging knee ligaments and although we still don’t know the seriousness of his injury until his x-ray, he could be out of action for around 6 weeks.
Tudur-Jones replaced O’Leary and it wasn’t until Peterborough’s first goal 3 minutes into extra time that Swansea got going. Bayo scored a minute later and Robinson then gave the Swans the lead before Akinfenwa scored another to put the game beyond doubt as we advance to the Southern Section Semi-Final.
Kenny Jackett said: ‘It’s a sickener for Kris and a loss for us, but you know you can’t go all season without injuries,’ Swans manager Kenny Jackett told BBC Sport Wales.
‘But we’re through to the semi-final, that’s great, and let’s just hope we can get another home draw.’
There was good news for McLeod however as he played a full 90 minutes after returning from a groin injury. Gary Fisken appears to be the only other player on the injury list who was sidelined for last night’s match.
