Sean O’Driscoll said his injury-struck Doncaster Rovers side were no match for Swansea City yesterday as they lost 3-0 at the Liberty Stadium.
Rovers even failed to get a shot on goal or win a corner as Swansea dominated the game, having 66% possession.
O’Driscoll said:
‘It was difficult,”
‘We have matched Swansea in the past, but we were no match for them here today.
‘It was a struggle with 13 players out. But the one saving grace was the players kept going.
‘There are 14 games to go, but I haven’t got a team. We have been pulling rabbits out of the hat all season, but I didn’t have a Plan B today.
‘Three of my substitutes were centre-halves. What I am going to do with them? I must have run over a black cat somewhere.’
