Norwich City boss Paul Lambert shares his thoughts on tomorrow’s game against Swansea City.

With both teams achieving promotion from the Championship, many people would say that this game could be of massive importance come the end of the season, as promoted teams are always expected to finish in or around the bottom three and it’s points against your nearest rivals that are always the most important.

However, maybe it won’t be massively important, with both teams currently sitting comfortably in mid-table after 7 games, but there’s still a long way to go yet.

Norwich City are back at home following a 2-0 defeat away at Manchester United before the international break, and they’ll be looking for a confidence-boosting win against a side equally matched as them in Swansea City.

Both teams shared wins against each other at home last season. Norwich City winning 2-0 last year at Carrow Road while the Swans also enjoyed a 3-0 victory at the Liberty Stadium.

Paul Lambert is expecting a tough game and says:

‘I think every game is hard,’

‘I don’t just look at the Swansea game and think it is going to be easier than Manchester United were.

‘That was really, really hard and I don’t think (Saturday) will be any different.

‘Every match in the Premier League is tough and we have to earn the right to beat them and vice versa.

‘I don’t think it will be a defining moment on what is going to happen.

‘I think throughout the course of the season a lot of things happen and you pick up points where people don’t think you will.

‘Then you lose when people expect you to win so I am not one to think what could happen. It is another game that we will try to win.’
