Swansea City could potentially play in the Europa League next season if they can continue their excellent fair play record.

Brendan Rodgers’ side are top of the fair play table, where points are awarded for red and yellow cards, positive play, respect towards opponents and referees, and behaviour of officials.

The team who finishes top at the end of the season qualify for a place in the Europa League, if the team who finishes top already qualifies, the next team is given the place.

The team who finishes top also receive a £30,000 cash prize.

So far this season, Swansea City have only picked up 10 yellow cards and no red cards.
