Kenny Jackett has extended Marcus Bean’s loan from QPR by an extra month.

The Swansea boss has been impressed with the young midfielder and his initial one-month stay expires after Saturday’s match at Yeovil.

Prior to completing the loan extension, Jackett told the Evening Post: ‘I think he has been a very good addition and we are ver pleased with him. He has given our midfield a very good complement with his athleticism and his ball-winning ability.’

However, Kenny hasn’t decided whether to make the deal permanant as QPR are ‘quite relunctant to let him go.’

Meanwhile, Adrian Forbes looks the most likely to replace Akinfenwa up front when the Swans head South to face Yeovil on Saturday.

Jackett is also considering putting McLeod or Robinson in the forward role alongside Trundle.

With Ricketts on international duty on the weekend, Garry Monk should return to the starting line up as Austin will shift across to left full back.
