Bath City left winger, Andy Sandell has joined the Swans on trial after impressing Kenny Jackett.
”I’ve seen him play for Bath and he looks quite promising,” Jackett said. ”We’re having a closer look at him for a few days.”
Bath City fans regard the midfielder as their best player at the club and one fan said on their message forum: ”They’d be mad not to have him; he could do better than that. Be gutted to see him go so soon.”
It seems strange through that we’ve taken a left winger on trial. Boyd, another non-league left winger was a target for the Swans but Jackett said signing the Stevenage player would be unlikely.
Judging by local press in Bath, Sandell has been training with Swansea City for the past week and has been ”lined up for a second stint of training.”
