Today`s 4-1 Premier League home victory against fellow relegation rivals West Ham United was one of the few games this season where it was difficult to pick a man of the match.

There were excellent performances throughout the team. Kyle Naughton has been heavily criticised all season, but it was one of his best displays this year, while the two Ayew brothers were superb, both showing endless energy and causing all sorts of problems with their pressure off the ball. Ki Sung Yueng got another goal at the Liberty, King made a very solid debut alongside him and van der Hoorn also rounded off a good game with a goal.

It`s difficult to pick out just one, as it was a brilliant team performance that “danced” around West Ham to “our music” as Carvalhal put it, but I`ve gone with Andre Ayew. Playing against his previous club played a big part, but he really looked up for it, and was almost desperate for the win against the Hammers.

It looked to me that he might not have left the Hammers on the best of terms, as he did clash with a few of his former team-mates, and looked determined throughout for his team to get the win.

Andre was involved in no less than three of our four goals. For the first, he received the ball from Olsson on the edge of the box before passing to Ki, who got into some space on his left foot to strike a low shot into the corner. He wasn`t involved in the second as van der Hoorn headed home directly from Ki`s in-swinging corner. For the third, he helped the ball on following Clucas` corner for King to finish from close range, and the fourth – Andre won the penalty that his brother put away.
