According to reports in the Daily Mail and from sky Sports, Dusko Tosic is set to snub the Swans to join fellow Championship club QPR instead.

For the past few weeks, the Serbian international defender has been linked with a loan move to the Liberty Stadium but the FA have blocked the transfer because of Portsmouth’s administration status. He initially signed at Pompey in February 2010 but his registration was withheld by the Premier League due to their financial difficulties, which then forced him to leave Fratton Park.

Tosic has been training with the Swansea City squad recently and has also travelled with the squad to recent away matches, but unfortunately it looks like Queens Park Rangers have beaten us to securing his services.

Swansea City are struggling with injuries, especially in defence and manager Paulo Sousa strengthened his squad this week with the loan signing of Burnley defender David Edgar.
