Both sides will be forced to name under-strength teams for Saturday’s Premier League as both Manchester United and Swansea City are suffering with injuries.

Since last weekend’s superb 2-1 win at Old Trafford to knock United out of the FA Cup, the Swans will be hoping to do it all over again, but this time they’ll be without Jonathan de Guzman and Dwight Tiendalli – who have picked up injuries this week.

Also out are Michel Vorm, Nathan Dyer, Pablo Hernandez and Roland Lamah.

Swansea City have only one recognised winger so that Alejandro Pozuelo will start out wide along with Wayne Routledge.

Angel Rangel, Ben Davies, Ashley Williams and Jose Canas all look set to return to the starting line-up.

Our predicted line-up:

Tremmel, Rangel, Williams, Chico, Davies, Pozuelo, Canas, Britton, Shelvey, Routledge, Bony.

Vazquez, Amat and Donnelly are the only other recognised senior players who Laudrup can name on his subs bench. The other three will be made up of youngsters including goalkeeper David Cornell.

Meanwhile, the pressure is growing on United manager David Moyes and his injury problems aren’t helping his case. His star players Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney are still out injured. Also out are Rio Ferdinand, Phil Jones, Marouane Fellaini, Nani and Ashley Young.

Defender Fabio is also suspended after his red card against the Swans last Sunday.

Michael Carrick has recently returned in midfield though and Moyes has Hernandez and Welbeck to choose up front.

‘I’m not saying United are not capable of winning this game but I don’t feel they’re capable of an almighty backlash and certainly won’t play us off the park.’
