Swansea to Achieve Highest Premier League Finish?

Swansea City have been tipped to achieve their best ever Premier League finish this season, with bookmakers making them favourites to finish in 8th, below the common top seven.

With the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal likely to finish at the top once again, plus Everton, Spurs and Manchester United hoping for a Champions’ League qualification place, Swansea City have been tipped to be ‘best of the rest’ in 8th, which would beat their previous best final position of 9th – achieved under the guidance of previous manager Michael Laudrup in his first season at the club.

Many journalists, pundits and bookies had the Swans down to struggle at the bottom, but after just three games – all wins, they’re now suddenly having a change of heart.

Swansea City are favourites at Sky Bet to finish 8th at odds of 7/2, ahead of Stoke 5/1, Southampton 9/2 and Newcastle United 6/1.
