Liverpool winger Paul Anderson says Swansea City top his list of clubs he’d join if things don’t work out with the Reds.
The 19 year-old is enjoying his time in South Wales, and despite making just 7 starts in all competitions, he’s our joint top scorer along with Jason Scotland with 6 goals.
Of course he’s hoping he still has a future at Anfield but admits that the Swans would be favourites to sign him if things didn’t work out.
Paul Anderson told the Evening Post:
‘It’s not really something to think about until the end of the season, but I would like to think Liverpool will still want me.’ ‘I’m hoping that I can go and make it at that level because everyone wants to play as high up as they can.’ ‘If it all fails at Liverpool, then Swansea are a great team.’ ‘I’m enjoying it down here – it’s a bit far away from everything, but you get used to that.’ ‘If it came to it and there were a couple of clubs who were interested, I would probably pick Swansea over anyone else.’ |
Anderson has scored in the last 3 games and he’ll be hoping to make that 4 tomorrow when the team travels to Bournemouth.
