June 11th: Swansea City are likely to make an improved bid for Wycombe defender Roger Johnson.
We previously failed with a �100,000 but Jackett is keen to sign the Chairboys’ captain and is expected to double his bid for the 23 year-old.
The League 2 side don’t have a manager at present and Jackett says it may be a case that they’re waiting to see who their new manager will be before considering selling their players.

Sky Sports and Edgware & Mill Hill Times are now also reporting news of an improved bid for Johnson.
Kenny Jackett said: “He’s very strong in both boxes and would be a good addition at Swansea.”
A club spokesman said: “We are still in the market for a centre back and there are still funds available to spend.”
