Swansea City winger Scott Sinclair says he’s thrilled to be included in the GB Olympic squad.

The 23 year old said he was ‘buzzing’ that Stuart Pearce picked him as this will be his final opportunity to play in the Olympics before he passes the age limit.

Sinclair has worked with Pearce in the England under-21 squad and he will team up again with the former England international.

‘I’m buzzing with the news. At 23, it was probably my only chance to represent Great Britain at the Olympics. I just made it, so I’m thrilled.

‘It’s going to be an amazing experience, especially with the Olympics being in London. It’s a great honour and I can’t wait for the tournament to start.’

Football in the London Olympic Games kicks off on Wednesday 25th July.
