Brendan Rodgers has this week told Sky Sports News that he has no ‘concrete offers’ yet to get back into managerial work – but he’s keen to do so in the Summer.

Speculation has been going around for months now suggesting that Swansea City are going all out to bring the former manager back to the Liberty Stadium for next season.

Even current head coach – Francesco Guidolin – who is still in the dark over his future in South Wales – has asked questions on the speculation in press conferences as he’s continually asked for updates on the job situation.

Sky Bet have also cut the odds on Brendan Rodgers to become Celtic’s new manager to 7/4.

In a recent Vital Swansea site poll, Guidolin came out on top with 34% as the manager they want for the 2016/17 season. Brendan Rodgers was third after Frank de Boer with 20%.

Chairman Huw Jenkins is set to make his decision along with the board of directors on the managerial situation at the end of the season. He has recently said that after a troubled season, it’s a decision they ‘must get right’ to avoid another battle against relegation.
