After a disappointing start to the season for Swansea City, which has seen us lose 3 in 6 games, goalkeeper Dorus De Vries insists the results will come.

The Dutchman put in a man of the match performance on Saturday as he helped to keep the score down to a respectable 2-0 defeat away at Preston North End. He made a number of excellent saves, particularly later on in the second half.

De Vries told BBC Sport that the squad is getting stronger and stronger, and it’s a matter of time before we start winning games:

‘The gaffer is putting the team together which is getting stronger by the minute,’

‘We are looking better and better on the training pitch.

‘We have some new signings… everybody is coming back from injuries little by little.

‘We are really hungry for results and they will come.’

Swansea City are looking to bounce back tonight when they host Bristol City at the Liberty Stadium.
