The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the EFL Cup tie between MK Dons and Swansea City this Tuesday.

Swansea City travel to MK Dons on Tuesday August 22 for the second round EFL Cup tie at Stadium: MK and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: Robert Jones
Assistant Refs: Louis Marks and George Warren
Fourth Official: Neil Hair

Match Day referee Jones has officiated two games in 2017/18, showing four yellow cards.

He took in 41 games in 2016/17 with a return of 122 yellows and four red cards.

His highest card count that season was the Walsall v Yeovil Town game where he showed six yellow cards, and he also showed six yellows in the Sutton United v Cheltenham FA Cup clash.

In 2015/16 Jones was on duty in the National League, where he took in 22 matches, showing 64 yellow cards and one red card.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
