Swansea City manager Garry Monk took training on Tuesday as usual, but it’s still expected that he’ll be sacked the following day.

‘Our current poll suggests that 7 out of 10 Swansea fans want to see the club sack Garry Monk.’

Reports suggest that chairman Huw Jenkins met with the under-pressure boss on Monday evening, discussing terms of his departure. It’s thought that an official announcement hasn’t been made yet because Huw Jenkins is picking up his OBE in London on Tuesday, but we’re expected to hear something on Wednesday. An announcement may also have been delayed as the board look for a replacement, as they have nobody immediately available to takeover as caretaker while they search for a new manager.

Like we posted in an article on Monday evening here, the club really need to make an announcement either way, as the media speculation about the whole subject is just getting out of hand now – and is adding even more pressure and focus on Monk and his players.

Our current poll suggests that 7 out of 10 Swansea fans want to see the club sack Garry Monk. The poll dropped initially from 81% and has now stuck on 73%.
