Roberto Martinez wants to shift focus from a potential Manchester United FA Cup tie and focus on tonight’s vital League game at Watford.

The League is obviously where his priorities lie as success in the Championship is our main aim this season, any other Cup success is a bonus.

Martinez has conceded that we’re still a long way off playing Manchester United at home, and says we’re far from favourites to progressing through to the Quarter-Finals.

Swansea City will need to keep the pressure on their fellow play-off hopefuls such as Burnley and Bristol City, who both play tonight.

Watford are currently struggling in the relegation but by no means will it be an easy game against the Hornets.

Ahead of the game, Martinez told the Evening Post about the importance of tonight’s clash at Vicarage Road:

‘I hope the fans are enjoying the thought of us playing against Manchester United,’

‘But we have to be realistic and say that we are not the favourites to come through our replay against Fulham, and we have to remember that the league is where we can achieve our long-term aims.

‘We have put ourselves in a great position in the Championship.

‘We have learned a lot in our first season at this level, but now we need to focus on every one of our last 15 games.

‘Watford is a huge fixture for us ? in terms of the goal of our football club, it’s as good as the FA Cup final.’

‘Watford are very dangerous,’

‘At this stage of the season, every Championship point is going to be very expensive and they will make it very difficult for us.

‘It’s one of the difficult places we have left on our fixture list and we need to be prepared.’
