Swansea City head to Merseyside to face former manager Brendan Rodgers and his Liverpool side who are in much need of a win in the final game of 2014.
After only one goal was scored in 2 games between the two sides in Swansea’s debut season under Rodgers, since then – there’s been plenty of goals with 14 scored in the last 3. The Swans will be looking for revenge following their controversial 2-1 defeat in the Capital One Cup, and last year they narrowly lost 4-3 in a superb game at Anfield.
Jonjo Shelvey has scored in both of his games against his former club, but after criticisms from manager Garry Monk, you wonder if he’ll get the opportunity to make that three tonight.
