With the second round ties now all but done and dusted, clubs have been allocated ball numbers for the League Cup third round draw later this evening.
With only a handful of games remaining in the second round of the competition this year, those games take place later tonight and the draw is set to take place following the conclusion of the Accrington Stanley v Burnley game which is on Sky Sports, so presumably around the 10pm mark depending on what happens when it comes to extra time or penalties in some matches.

Round three sees Premier League clubs competing in Europe enter the competition and the draw is not seeded.
Round three ties are provisionally set to take place on the week beginning September 19.
