Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup will have to assess the fitness of four first team players ahead of Saturday’s game against Everton

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup will have to assess the fitness of four first team players ahead of Saturday’s home game against Everton.

Striker Danny Graham appears to be the biggest concern, while Ashley Williams, Jonathan de Guzman and Leon Britton are also doubtful to face Everton this weekend.

de Guzman and Williams picked up problems in last Saturday’s defeat at Aston Villa, while Leon Britton is struggling with flu.

Laudrup said:

‘We will have to look at all four of them in training before we can decide,’

‘We cannot do anything about these injuries. Football is a contact sport and two of them are from the last game.

‘The others are from training, but you have to train like you play.

‘Then we have Leon feeling sick. We can’t do anything about that.

‘He has not been in for a couple of days, but all the players will be in (today) and we hope they can all play tomorrow, apart from Kemy who is definitely out. Let’s see if they are in or out. If they are not 100 per cent, we have other players who can come in and play.’

Ashley Williams’ absence would pose the biggest problem to Laudrup, as he is also without Chico Flores, Garry Monk and Kyle Bartley.

Luke Moore competes with loanee Itay Shechter if Graham doesn’t make it, while the likes of Ki Sung-Yeung and Pablo Hernandez hope for some involvement if de Guzman and Britton are also sidelined.
