Dutch star Ferrie Bodde looks set to leave the club in January after his agent revealed that there is a gentleman`s agreement in place that could see the midfield maestro leave if a Premeirship club comes in for him.

Bodde has been the club`s stand out performer this campaign and has drawn interest from clubs including Bolton, West Brom and Middlesbrough.

The 26 year old signed a new long term deal following the summer`s lengthy transfer saga with Derby County. But, if Bodde`s agent is to believed, his time in the white shirt of City is limited.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Sjaron Vink said:

‘He is very happy in Swansea.

‘But…we made a gentlemen’s agreement that if a big Premier League club came in then they would let him go.’

‘There is a lot of interest at the moment for Ferrie because he is doing very well,’ Vink added.

‘It is the dream of every player to play in the Premier League.’

The club have insisted they have no need to sell any of their star performers, but a big money offer may just be to good to turn down. The Dutchman`s time at the Liberty could be coming to an end.
