Histon chairman Gareth Baldwin said he’s petrified at the thought of playing Swansea City tonight after watching us beat Burnley 2-0 on Sky Sports on the weekend.

He was obviously impressed by our performance at Turf Moor, and it seems his confidence has dropped that his side can pull off yet another cup upset. Swindon and Leeds have already suffered defeats against Histon in the competition.

The Swans face the Blue Square Premier side tonight in their re-scheduled FA Cup third round tie, following the postponement 10 days ago.

Baldwin accused Swansea staff of trying to persuade the match officials to postpone the game, but he has now apologised, and told BBC Sport:

‘I would like to apologise for being a little bit too outspoken,’

‘It’s genuinely not how I am but on the day I was disappointed and upset.’

‘We watched the game (Burnley vs Swansea) and everyone was like ‘blimey’,’

‘We know we are going to need a lot of luck to beat Swansea.

‘They demonstrated on Saturday what a good footballing side they are. The team they beat are no mugs, that’s for sure.

‘We know we’ve got a massive job tonight. I guess initially it’s about damage limitation and then see if we’ve got a foothold in the game to see if we can cause an upset.

‘We are going into the game with a little bit of trepidation after seeing Saturday.’

Martinez is most likely to make a number of changes to his side tonight, resting key players ahead of a tough home game on Saturday against Reading. Jason Scotland could be dropped to the bench while Darren Pratley is an injury doubt along with Joe Allen and Tom Butler. Andrea Orlandi could make the bench after returning from injury and Bessone could be involved again in defence.

What would your line-up be for tonight’s game? Who should get rested for Saturday’s game?
