The Swans have four players in Brazil for the World Cup. Wilfried Bony will be hoping that his goalscoring form will earn him a starting place in Ivory Coast’s squad when they face Japan on Sunday in their opening match.

Ki Sung Yeung will have to wait a few extra days for his first World Cup 2014 game, and he;s likely to feature for South Korea when they face Russia on Tuesday.

Jonathan de Guzman has already experienced his first taste of the World Cup in Brazil, after starting for the Netherlands in their stunning 5-1 thrashing of holders Spain on Friday night. In the same game, goalkeeper Michel Vorm was an unused substitute.

Garry Monk will be hoping to keep the midfielder on at the Liberty Stadium for a third consecutive season after spending the last two on loan from Villareal.
