Swansea City captain Ashley Williams won his third Vital Swansea man of the match poll following the 2-2 draw at home against Spurs.

Since our last man of the match poll update – after the 2-1 win against Manchester United, Neil Taylor, Ashley Williams and Jack Cork have all won polls for recent League matches.

Surprisingly, Andre Ayew – arguably one of the club’s best performers so far this season has yet to win a man of the match vote, although he came second in the recent poll with 25%, behind Williams’ 37%.

Williams’ 3 poll wins so far after just 8 games speaks volumes for his consistency and quality performances. He’s played a huge role in helping the team limit the amount of goals the team has conceded despite coming under a lot of pressure in home games against the likes of Spurs, Everton and Manchester United.

Man of the Match Leaderboard:

Ashley Williams – 3
Jefferson Montero – 2
Jack Cork – 2
Neil Taylor – 1

In our new poll, we’d like to know what you think the result will be when Swansea City host Stoke City at the Liberty Stadium on October 19th at 8pm (Live on Sky Sports).
