Danny Webber says he’s been impressed with Paulo Sousa as he considers a move to Swansea City.
|“I would love to see him in a Swansea City shirt.”|
The striker, who was released earlier in the Summer by Sheffield United, has held talks with the Swans and he is currently considering his options as we face competition from other clubs for his signature.
Webber told Sky Sports:
‘I’ve spoken to Swansea and I was very impressed with Paulo Sousa, in his methods and the way he plays his football, so that is another option that I have to consider along with a number of choices,’
‘People may be wondering why I haven’t signed anywhere else since leaving Sheffield Unitedduring the summer, but it’s just about making the right decision and going with my gut feeling.’
‘It is frustrating to watch other players playing their football, whilst I’m not able to be out there myself, but that isn’t because I haven’t had any offers,’
‘It’s just a case of playing the waiting game and making sure that I join the right club for me. There are certain things that are just taking a little bit of time to sort out.’
Paulo Sousa is keen to add a striker to his squad and he’ll be hoping that the 27 year-old decides to join us this month. He was a regular for the Blades last season but in 36 appearances, he scored just 4 goals in the League.
