Swansea City boss Roberto Martinez says he wants his side to win every game, including those in cup competitions.

The Spaniard looks set to make a number of changes tonight as Brentford arrive at the Liberty Stadium for the Carling Cup First Round (7:45pm kick off).

The Swans’ boss insists he is taking the Cup competitions seriously, he told the Evening Post:

“You need to go out and try to win every game,”

“That`s our attitude to this cup.

“It`s great that we are playing at home and we need to impose ourselves.

“After that, I don`t look at this competition as a whole, just on a game by game basis.

“There`s always circumstances and situations that motivate you each round. But we will look to win every game.”
