QPR boss Neil Warnock has tipped Swansea City to win the play-offs but admits every team has a big chance to win promotion.

Warnock, who guided his team to the Championship title, avoiding a points deduction mentioned the Swans as his tip to join his QPR team and Norwich City in the Premiership next year.

Swansea City look to get past Nottingham Forest first with the away leg to be played on Thursday before the second leg on Monday. It’s possible that if we did progress, we could face our arch rivals Cardiff City in the final if they can beat Reading.

Warnock said:

‘I have got a sneaky feeling for Swansea if I’m honest,’

‘But I don’t know what will happen ? they could implode in one game and throw their chances away.

‘The play-offs are the play-offs ? really it’s heads or tails in these games.

‘If you were a betting man, you would not have put a penny on Blackpool last year, so everybody’s got a chance.’

He also spoke about the other three teams in the play-offs:

‘Reading have had a good run, although in the last two or three games they have dropped off,’

‘But they have got themselves into the play-offs and they have some great players.

‘Forest have come good at the right time. Billy (Davies) has a youngish squad there, but if they believe in themselves they can beat anyone on their day.

‘Dave (Jones) has the hardest job because of the disappointment of missing out on the top two and the way they missed out.

‘That will be the hardest thing, to get them going again.’
