Despite not playing, unused substitute Tom Butler was given a red card after today’s game at Cardiff City for dissent.

He used foul and abusive language which was aimed at Mike Dean – obviously completely frustrated and totally shocked at the referee’s awful decision to award a late penalty.

The winger will now serve a 3-match ban and while the referee’s decision was unbelievably soft, that’s no way to act as a professional footballer.

The ban ruins his chances of getting involved in the remaining 5 games.
