Midfielder Owain Tudur-Jones has extended his loan spell at Swindon Town until the end of the season.

The former Bangor City player joined the League One club on an initial 1-month spell but he’ll stay at the County Ground until May as he hopes to help the Robins avoid relegation.

Tudur-Jones made a poor start to his spell at Swindon, and was at fault for two of Colchester’s goals as Swindon lost 3-2 on his debut.

However, Robins boss says he’s been improving every game and is delighted to extend his stay:

‘Owain has improved with every game and I have been more than happy with him.

He is a quality footballer who offers us a great deal in that midfield area.’

Tudur-Jones has found it difficult to get near the Swansea City first team this season and it doesn’t look like that will change for his benefit next season. As a result, he could well move on in the Summer.
