With the international break now thankfully over, it’s back to league action this weekend as Swansea City to maintain top spot as they welcome Nottingham Forest to the Liberty Stadium.
After an unbeaten start to the season, manager Steve Cooper won the August Manager of the Month award following his side’s 1-0 win at Leeds United that guided them to top spot.
Following that winner at Elland Road, Wayne Routledge has earned a first-team place with the rest of the team unchanged. Nathan Dyer returns from a hamstring injury to make the bench while Yan Dhanda is unfortunate to miss out on the matchday squad.
There were doubts over Joe Rodon’s injury following his international duty with Wales but he’s fit to start again alongside Mike van der Hoorn.
