Swansea City defender Alan Tate talks about his future at the club and says he hopes he can sort out a new contract.
The 25 year-old says he is happy to stay in South Wales despite making only a few first team appearances this season because injury and suspension.
Rather than waiting until the Summer when his contract is up for renewal, Tate wants something sorted way before in.
He also joins the likes of Garry Monk, Dennis Lawrence, Tom Butler, Kris O`Leary and Guillem Bauza whose contracts also expire in June.
Alan Tate told the Western Mail:
|“I`m happy down here and content with the way things are going,” |
“I`d like to sort something out, the sooner the better.
“But it`s up to the chairman and the manager and if they see me as part of the club`s future.
“Hopefully they do and we will get something sorted.”
