4 Swansea City players have earned International call ups. The most notable call up has come for injury stricken midfielder Owain Tudur Jones .

The midfielder has been called up by John Toshack to the Welsh Squad to face the Republic Of Ireland on the November 17th and Germany in Eintract Frankfurt’s Commerzbank-Arena on November 21st.

This comes as a huge shock as the midfielder has yet to play a competitive match in over a year.

The former Bangor City player has featured in the reserve team over the last few months.

Suspended Striker Warren Feeney has also earned a call up from Northern Ireland manager Nigel Worthington as they face Denmark and Spain.

Swansea City youngsters Joe Allen and Shaun McDonald have both consolidated their places in Bryan Flynn’s U-21 squad. The U-21’s will face very stiff competition against Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Racecourse on November 17th and a clash against France at Ninian Park on November 20th.

The U-21’s will then take a break from International competitions until February when they will take on Malta at the Ta’ Qali National Stadium in the Maltese Capital Valletta.

Swansea City have postponed the Pontins Combination reserve match at the Remax Stadium against Plymouth Argyle on November 14th.
